Massage Therapy Certification

614 clock hours, 8 ˝ months of instruction.

 

This program focuses on the western styles massage therapy.  The program prepares students for entry level positions as massage therapists in medical, chiropractic and physical therapy offices, gyms, salons, spas, cruise ships, resorts and for private practice, and to take the National Certification Exam.

This program provides specialized coursework in spa therapies, in addition to the western styles massage therapy. Students learn hot stone massage, wet/dry room applications, aromatherapy massages, and more.  The program prepares students for entry level positions as massage therapists for day spas, resort spas, cruise ships, medical spas, and for private practice.  Graduates are eligible to sit for the National Certification Exam.

Clinical Massage Therapy Certification

1149 clock hours, 12 months of instruction

 

This program focuses on the clinical and rehabilitative approaches to massage therapy, integrating Western and Eastern massage techniques for effective results.  The program prepares students for entry- level positions as massage therapists in a variety of medical and holistic settings, such as chiropractic, acupuncture, medical and physical therapy offices and hospitals, wellness centers, and for private practice in collaboration with other health care providers.  This program also prepares students to take the National Certification Exam, and exceeds hourly educational requirements for most jurisdictions that require 1000+ hours.
